Jenny McCrea, CPA, CGA, has always been interested in numbers, so it only made sense she became a CGA CPA in 2006. As a little girl, Jenny remembers how much she loved her grandfather’s electronic calculator over any other toy!
After graduating from Okanagan University College in 1998 with her Business Administration Diploma, Jenny quickly started the CPA, CGA program to obtain her designation. As an accounting clerk, Jenny gained experience in many areas of accounting, advancing into Controllership roles in various industries. Her vast industry experience includes Wholesale, Manufacturing, Property Management, and Transportation.
In 2020, Jenny founded CMD Accounting Services Inc. She finds her experience helps her to assist and guide her clients in all aspects of business decision-making. Jenny expands her knowledge base each year and thrives on assisting her clients by customizing her approach to best suit their needs.
Family is of the utmost importance to Jenny!! CMD was named using the first letter of each of her children’s names. Jenny is an active Mom of three with whom she loves spending as much time as possible. She cherishes the time she spends with them. You will find her and her family on horses, ATVs, or just enjoying the beautiful Okanagan!
After completing her practicum with CMD, Lindsay Lee enthusiastically joined the CMD team in February 2021! Lindsay’s background includes a vast range of experience in several different industries. In March 2020, Lindsay took the Office Assistant Certificate at OUC, then decided to join the accounting field. She has been very successful in the transition.
Lindsay has a flair for math, numbers, and organizing information, abilities that have made for a very successful transfer into the accounting field. Lindsay is the one that will have a smile on her face and will make clients feel at ease when coming to the office. She is friendly and takes pride in assisting our clients to organize their bookkeeping and personal taxes and helping them to understand where they are at with their income and expenses. She also has a passion for payroll and is the one who deals with most of the payroll at CMD.
When Lindsay is not at work, she is passionate about the outdoors and can be hiking, biking, snowboarding, or traveling around different areas of the Okanagan area.
Lindsay is an extremely valued member of the CMD team. She has proven herself to be efficient and reliable in meeting deadlines. She is always willing to assist others and is a great team player.
Jaclyn (Jackie) Webb came to work with CMD Accounting Services Inc. in January 2022; Jackie has been a very welcome addition to the CMD team. Jackie has a people-oriented personality; she loves to work with business owners and show them real and quantifiable progress and results.
Jackie attended Okanagan College for the Office Assistant Certification and is constantly upgrading her knowledge of different accounting programs taking every opportunity she can to learn more with on-the-job training under Jenny McCrea, CPA, CGA. Jackie is excellent at meeting deadlines and accurately reporting business information.
Jackie was born and raised in the sunny Okanagan; she takes great pride in her relationships with clients and friends. When not working, Jackie loves to cook and is constantly looking for opportunities to learn and grow in all aspects of her life.
Jackie is an asset in CMD’s culture with her natural accounting abilities and work ethic; she compliments the CMD team immensely.
Julia Dill came to work with CMD Accounting Services Inc. as a practicum student in March 2022 and quickly became part of the CMD team. She has proven to be a valued asset with her knowledge obtained from the Bookkeeping and Accounting Certification with OUC in June 2022 and her ability to work well with others.
Seeing the struggles of her family-owned business in finding a reliable and accurate accountant sparked Julia's passion for accounting and numbers. Julia enjoys the inner workings of bookkeeping and making the numbers balance for our clients. She has come to enjoy helping people track their expenses and revenues and providing reports to let clients know how their business is doing.
Apart from using a gigantic calculator when she is off work, Julia is fluent in 3 languages English, German and Russian. She loves hiking, paddle boarding, and spending her free time enjoying the great weather and the beautiful sceneries the Okanagan has to offer.
Julia has become an integral part of the CMD team and an asset to our clients.
Sara joined CMD in January 2023, drawn in by the friendliness of our close-knit team. Her lifelong love of math and making numbers match has made Sara a valuable team member.
She started her accounting journey in the 1990s but took a 20-year break to raise her three kids. After completing the Basic Accounting Certificate from Okanagan College in 2018, she has been bookkeeping.
Sara enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her husband and family. She is an avid snowboarder, mountain biker, and paddleboarder.
Marcela’s professional journey began as an MBA, and for more than 10- years, she assisted business leaders in different organizational areas like communications and management.
After obtaining her MBA in 2014, Marcela decided to complement her business experience with accounting knowledge and enrolled herself in a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Accounting at Okanagan College.
In May 2023, Marcela joined CMD and became a valued team member with her natural accounting abilities, passion for numbers, and planning, allowing her to create precise accounting records.
Marcela and her family have a passion for travel and cultural exploration, a lifelong pursuit for Marcela, having lived in four countries and visited 30 others. Marcela and her husband chose Vernon because they wanted a safe, quiet community to raise their daughter.
