We are currently seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with some experience in bookkeeping/accounting looking to go further in their career and expand their knowledge and interest in working in an environment of continuous learning.

What you're responsible for:

• Maintaining Client records
• Accounts Receivable & Payable Management
• Bank & Visa Reconciliations
• Monthly Data entry for bookkeeping clients
• Remittance filings to CRA and other government bodies
• Administration work as assigned
• Reception
• Intake of tax clients through tax season
• Assisting with T1 preparation through tax season
• Reporting to the owner, other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Characteristics;

• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships
• Strong attention to detail and exemplary organization/ time management skills
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred
• Payroll experience preferred
• Experience preparing WCB, T4, GST, and PST returns preferred
• Experience completing personal tax returns preferred
